Performs mechanical design work under the supervision of a registered Mechanical Engineer. Supports planning, feasibility, concept development, detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Assists with 3D modeling, field investigations, markups, reviews, and discipline deliverables. Coordinates with architects, engineers, designers, clients, contractors, and external partners to produce constructible mechanical designs involving HVAC, utilities, and piping systems.

Leads mechanical engineering design for HVAC, utilities, piping, and building systems across complex projects. Oversees discipline scope, budgets, schedules, quality, code compliance, construction support, field surveys, client coordination, and design documentation. Serves as Engineer-of-Record, directs mechanical teams, mentors staff, and supports projects from planning and conceptual design through construction administration. Work primarily serves life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory, and food and beverage facilities.

Mechanical Engineer Interns support the design of HVAC, mechanical utility, plumbing, fire protection, and building support systems. Responsibilities include preparing calculations, reports, construction drawings, specifications, conceptual designs, code evaluations, energy models, and coordination documents. Interns collaborate with project teams, vendors, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies while gaining hands-on experience in AEC projects serving life sciences and food and beverage industries.
