Manage day-to-day VFX project operations: create and maintain schedules, track budgets and resources, communicate with artists/supervisors/clients, enforce pipeline standards and version control, troubleshoot production issues, support team onboarding and mentorship, and help improve production tools and workflows to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Supervise and train data/vault technicians, enforce best practices, manage scheduling and LTO/archive operations, coordinate project storage and shipments, track digital records, liaise with production and clients, perform vault security audits, and troubleshoot data deliveries across dailies, conform, editorial, sound, and VFX workflows.

Manage multiple VFX projects from award through delivery, liaise with clients and VFX department heads, maintain schedules, budgets, staffing, and resolve creative/technical issues while building client relationships.

Coordinate VFX shot progress between teams, log dailies, manage deliverables and outsourcing, capture client feedback, support producers and supervisors, and maintain production tracking and scheduling.

The Pipeline TD will design, develop, and maintain production tools and systems, support artists, and optimize workflows in VFX productions.
