Leads and develops software engineering teams while remaining hands-on with coding, architecture, code reviews, and technical solution design. Partners with product and design leadership to identify opportunities and create adaptable roadmaps. Coaches engineers, supports career growth, provides actionable feedback, participates in hiring, and helps build high-performing teams developing large-scale SaaS products.

Design and refine Clio’s Document Management System, owning UI and interaction execution from concept through testing. Collaborate with senior designers, respond to customer feedback, support research, reinforce design-system patterns, and explore AI-enabled document workflows. The role emphasizes strong visual and interaction craft, systems thinking, usability, and clear evidence-based communication while helping scale the product for complex legal practices.

Manage and scale Clio’s global privacy program, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, and other regulations. Responsibilities include privacy policy and training development, compliance monitoring, DPIAs and PIAs, DSAR workflows, metrics and reporting, Privacy by Design collaboration, incident response support, and third-party vendor privacy assessments. The role also advises on evolving laws, negotiates data processing agreements, and evaluates privacy risks from AI processes and automated agents.
