Leads application development and systems analysis initiatives, partnering with management and technology teams to deliver system enhancements, products, and process improvements. Evaluates complex business and technical processes, establishes coding and testing standards, ensures architectural alignment, develops innovative solutions, manages risk and compliance, and coaches mid-level developers and analysts. Requires substantial applications programming experience, project leadership, and expertise in at least one application development area.

Develop and support enterprise Java applications throughout analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-production support. The role involves building revised systems, analyzing complex technical and business problems, recommending secure solutions, collaborating with users and technology teams, advising junior analysts, managing risks and compliance, and serving as a subject matter expert with limited supervision.

Design and maintain Java-based UI and API automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright for an investment banking trading platform. Apply AI and LLM techniques to generate tests and synthetic data, enable self-healing automation, analyze requirements, and triage failures. Define test plans, perform root-cause analysis, manage defect retesting, support CI/CD and infrastructure troubleshooting, produce test reports, review runbooks, mentor teammates, and collaborate with global QA, development, and product teams.
