Provides technical pre-sales expertise for Cisco security solutions. Designs architectures, configures products, creates demonstrations and technical presentations, translates customer business needs into technical requirements, advises account teams, and supports high-value security opportunities. Requires experience in technical sales or pre-sales, network security, Unix/Linux administration, packet-level networking, cloud, SaaS, and security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, email security, antivirus, and advanced malware protection.

Provides strategic legal counsel to Cisco’s Canadian sales teams, drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements, including software licenses, cloud, SaaS, procurement, and alliance contracts. Advises management on commercial risk, data protection, information security, regulatory matters, governance, and compliance. Supports global legal initiatives and integrates AI, contract lifecycle management, and enterprise communication technologies to improve legal research, contract analysis, and document review.

Leads Cisco Canada's offset, industrial participation, localization, and local content strategies. The role manages government engagement, negotiations, compliance, financial governance, audits, reporting, partnerships, and cross-functional execution. It develops relationships with Canadian SMEs, Indigenous businesses, academia, training organizations, and strategic investors while supporting technology transfer, workforce development, and sustainable industrial growth. The manager also establishes governance frameworks, improves processes, mentors stakeholders, and provides leadership visibility into program performance and obligations.
