Build and lead the technical strategy for CircleCI Server, an on-premises CI/CD platform. Develop Kubernetes infrastructure, Helm-based deployment, release automation, testing tools, observability, and diagnostics using OpenTelemetry. Improve installation, upgrades, reliability, and operations across customer environments, including air-gapped deployments. Partner with Product, Engineering, Support, Customer Engineering, and customers while mentoring engineers and making architecture decisions across systems and teams.

Build and operate CircleCI’s data query platform, including ClickHouse storage, event-driven ingestion, Temporal workflows, APIs, indexing, caching, and tiered storage. Design schemas, optimize high-volume queries, improve reliability and observability, and lead architectural decisions. The role requires strong backend engineering, distributed systems expertise, AI-native practices, and technical leadership across production data systems.
