Senior technology and AI reporter responsible for pitching and breaking news stories, researching and interviewing sources, and producing engaging text, audio, video, live, and mobile-focused content. The role requires live and unscripted reporting, coverage of fast-moving events, strong industry contacts, collaboration with editors, and clear explanations of complex technology topics for diverse Canadian audiences. Work is full-time, on-site, and may include overtime and weekends.

Produces and edits weekly podcast video episodes, short-form vertical videos, explainers, and social content for YouTube, TikTok, CBC platforms, and other digital channels. Responsibilities include researching, writing, fact-checking, shooting, editing, packaging, and distributing news content; monitoring analytics; identifying platform trends; coordinating production schedules; supporting journalists; and applying sound editorial judgment in deadline-driven environments.

Lead portfolio intelligence and value-realization efforts by designing dashboards, connecting delivery tools, defining performance and value metrics, advising teams on planning and value streams, facilitating governance, and presenting portfolio reports to leadership to optimize investment decisions and delivery outcomes.
