The role involves leading physical design, methodology development, implementation, and verification in advanced technology nodes, ensuring successful tapeouts.

Lead technical architect providing cross-project technical leadership and strategic direction. Make long-term architectural decisions, resolve complex design issues, drive processes and projects, mentor engineers, and partner with sales, accounts and executives to influence product strategy and customer outcomes.

Develop and extend UVM-based functional verification environments, add features, ensure customer configurations pass regressions, support customers, maintain functional and code coverage, and ensure designs meet technical and quality metrics. Focus includes memory controller verification and protocols like DDR/LPDDR/AXI/CHI-E.

Design and implement high-speed, high-accuracy analog cells, blocks, and IP using advanced foundry nodes. Build layouts and methodologies, collaborate with global circuit designers and Cadence R&D (Virtuoso/PVS) to develop layout/verification tools, and meet technical and schedule requirements with high quality.

Provide tools and hands-on support to analog circuit and custom layout teams using Cadence EDA tools. Support design capture, pre/post-layout simulation, optimization, EM/IR and thermal analysis, reliability and 2.5D/3D IC flows, and develop AI-driven tooling and improvements to increase efficiency and quality.

Lead presales technical strategy for CAE multi-physics simulation software, partnering with sales to translate customer engineering problems into simulation solutions. Deliver demos, PoCs, and RFI/RFP responses; architect end-to-end CAE workflows; support HPC/cloud/GPU deployments; benchmark competitors; train internal teams; and travel to customer sites (up to 30%).

The Principal Product Engineer acts as the main technical liaison for customers, managing communications, ensuring product integration, and resolving technical issues through collaboration with teams and customer engagement.
