Teams at Braze

Build and scale Braze’s SMS and RCS channels, including message composition, delivery, responses, analytics, click tracking, and link shortening. Ship full-stack features, own technical areas, solve open-ended distributed-systems problems, and improve platform reliability as traffic grows. Collaborate across teams, communicate clearly, and drive initiatives from concept through delivery.

Leads the Landing Pages engineering team and product, overseeing architecture, development, platform scalability, APIs, integrations, hosting, reporting, and customer adoption. Partners with product and design to prioritize initiatives using usage data, while recruiting, coaching, and retaining engineers. Owns the team’s vision, goals, processes, and technical execution, contributing directly to code and key architectural decisions when needed.

Lead reliability engineering for Braze’s NGINX ingress fleets, Kubernetes infrastructure, Ruby on Rails monolith, and Go API services. Design scalable, highly available systems; develop automated scaling routines; define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets; conduct capacity planning; and participate in PagerDuty on-call rotations. Drive incident response, root-cause analysis, blameless retrospectives, runbook improvements, and resilient architecture decisions with product engineering teams.
