Lead end-to-end development of TeraWave FEIC mm-wave chipset family, coordinating internal teams and external vendors from architecture and multi-variant mask planning through tapeout, silicon bring-up, antenna co-development, testing, qualification, and production ramp while managing risks, schedules, and system-level RF interfaces.

Lead the IC packaging team to develop advanced packaging solutions, manage product cycles, and ensure design for manufacturability while collaborating on simulations and qualifications.

Lead design and ownership of system-level integration and test architecture for a satellite communications constellation. Define test strategy, build progressive integrated test facilities (link-level to full-system), integrate ground terminal validation, embed tests in CI/CD pipelines, size and procure major test infrastructure, and collaborate across payload, satellite, and network teams to ensure end-to-end validation, regulatory compliance, and production-scale acceptance testing.

Lead execution of complex ASIC/SoC programs from architecture through tapeout, ensuring alignment across teams and managing risks.

Develop algorithms and models for TeraWave's custom silicon and RF systems, design advanced digital systems, and collaborate with various teams for implementation and validation.

Design and implement SDN-based network architecture for a multi-orbit satellite constellation. Develop routing, topology management, fast-reroute, traffic engineering, telemetry, and self-healing control-plane logic. Optimize packet forwarding under power and latency constraints, collaborate with RF and silicon teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead reliability strategy and environmental validation for satellite user terminal hardware. Design and run HALT/HASS/ESS tests, oversee weatherproofing and thermal/vibration testing, perform failure analysis (X-ray, microscopy, cross-sectioning), own DFMEA and physics-of-failure models to predict MTBF and warranty risk, collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams and external labs to drive hardware improvements and regulatory compliance.

Design and develop mechanical hardware for the TeraWave satellite constellation and ground systems. Perform structural and thermal analyses, create CAD models/drawings/BOMs, support integration and environmental testing, apply GD&T, lead design reviews, mitigate risks, and collaborate with systems, electrical, manufacturing teams and suppliers.

Lead design and development of user terminal hardware for a high-capacity satellite network. Integrate high-speed digital logic with phased-array antennas, design HDI PCBs and power delivery, route high-speed buses (PCIe/Ethernet/MIPI/SerDes), perform EMI/noise simulations, and own hardware bring-up, debugging, and system-level testing through product lifecycle.

Lead end-to-end hardware architecture for a phased-array satellite user terminal: define system block diagrams, select SoCs and high-speed components, resolve RF/electrical/mechanical interfaces, design power/thermal systems for beamforming, drive manufacturability with CMs, and establish validation and global compliance (FCC/CE/ETSI).

Design, develop, and optimize bare-metal or RTOS/Embedded Linux firmware for a high-throughput satellite user terminal. Implement low-level drivers, beamforming control, real-time networking and power/thermal management, secure boot/OTA systems, and collaborate with hardware teams to debug and verify mission-critical RF and transceiver systems.

Lead DFX strategy for mechanical systems from concept to high-rate production. Drive DFM/DFA/DFR/DFC, tolerance analysis, GD&T, DOE, NPI, factory automation, failure analysis, and supplier readiness. Recruit and grow a global DFX team, establish assembly processes across multiple disciplines, and define DFX review gates and metrics to improve yield, reliability, and cost.

Lead quality and reliability strategy for satellite connectivity systems across lifecycle. Build and lead reliability organization, implement FMEA/FTA and predictive analytics, drive test/validation, root-cause and supplier quality, oversee on-orbit anomaly management, ensure compliance and continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma.

Lead the technical vision for product integrity across reliability, thermal, structural, materials, and qualification. Pioneer physics-of-failure methods, predictive reliability and AI-driven engineering, define testing/validation frameworks, mentor technical leaders, and align cross-disciplinary teams to ensure hardware survives launch and long-duration space deployment.
