Deliver strategic advisory mandates for high-potential Canadian companies through BDC’s Growth Driver Program. Responsibilities include conducting research and financial analysis, co-creating customer journeys and deliverables, assessing business situations with management teams, identifying growth opportunities, and coordinating project work. The role requires strong financial modeling, interpersonal, time-management, and collaboration skills, with travel of up to 25% and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem partners. Promote BDC services, refer businesses to appropriate resources, identify business opportunities, and advise account managers on Indigenous client needs. Serve as a subject matter expert on Indigenous entrepreneurship, support tailored solutions and internal education, contribute to strategic initiatives, and monitor economic trends affecting Indigenous businesses. Participate in regional conferences and help advance economic empowerment and business development.

Leads BDC’s corporate financing portfolio growth by sourcing and structuring transactions, conducting due diligence, presenting proposals for underwriting, and managing client and influencer relationships. Develops business opportunities, retention strategies, and marketing plans while advising sophisticated entrepreneurial clients on financing and consulting services. Ensures transactions meet credit policies, profitability goals, and risk parameters. Requires strong financial analysis, business development, relationship management, and bilingual English-French communication skills.
