Ensures transactions meet credit policies, profitability goals, and risk parameters. Requires strong financial analysis, business development, relationship management, and bilingual English-French communication skills.

Leads a BDC Entrepreneurship Centre serving small businesses in GTA North. Manages and develops account managers, drives financing and consulting sales, builds community relationships, oversees loan portfolios, evaluates credit risk, manages high-risk clients, and ensures profitability, portfolio growth, client satisfaction, and operational performance.

Manage BDC’s commercial loan portfolio through annual reviews, service requests, financial analysis, credit risk assessment, loan amendments, and restructuring recommendations. Monitor client performance and regional economic trends, identify risks and opportunities, ensure documentation and policy compliance, collaborate with internal teams, and coach colleagues. The role requires strong judgment, financial analysis expertise, banking experience, and French-English bilingualism.

Supports venture fund investments from sourcing and due diligence through portfolio management. Responsibilities include financial analysis, valuation modeling, forecasting, market research, investment memo preparation, deal coordination, portfolio monitoring, entrepreneur relationship management, and operational support for investee companies.

Leads government-backed venture capital programs totaling billions in assets under management. Oversees fund investments, underwriting, negotiations, portfolio governance, capital activity, reporting, and compliance. Represents BDC on fund governance bodies, manages relationships with fund managers, institutional investors, and government stakeholders, and provides strategic insight into Canada’s venture capital ecosystem. Leads, coaches, and develops analysts while supporting program design, market research, and stakeholder communications.
