Provides client service and business development support to multiple Financial Advisors while progressing through Merrill’s Advisor Development Program. Responsibilities include servicing client needs, preparing accurate materials, supporting banking and investment solutions, managing referrals, prospecting, maintaining relationships, following risk and compliance procedures, and completing securities licensing. Successful participants advance to Financial Advisor trainee roles and ultimately build and manage their own client book of business.

Provide comprehensive financial advice and customized investment solutions to clients. Triage leads, build financial plans, recommend brokerage products, make referrals to internal partners, identify new clients, and ensure regulatory compliance including SAFE Act registration when applicable.

Develops and manages relationships with high-net-worth clients, identifies financial needs, recommends suitable investment products, builds a book of business, prospects for clients, services accounts, documents interactions in Salesforce, and completes required training and compliance activities. The role includes mentorship, comprehensive wealth planning, business development, client presentations, referrals to specialists, and performance-based goals.
