Responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, foreign transaction, withholding, and foreign tax returns for Aviva Canada entities. The role manages tax provisions, installments, remittances, balance sheet accounts, tax continuities, internal controls, transfer pricing documentation, and audit responses. It also involves reconciling accounting entries, supporting capital reporting, communicating with tax authorities, and contributing to ad hoc tax projects.

Own and transform Aviva’s AEM website ecosystem, including Aviva.ca and Aviva Partner. Build and launch pages, components, experiments, and AI-assisted improvements directly; define product strategy and roadmap; optimize engagement, adoption, and sales impact through analytics, personalization, and experimentation. Lead complex delivery with an engineering vendor, balance stakeholder demands, and introduce AI-enabled workflows that accelerate shipping and reduce engineering dependency.

Underwrite equipment breakdown insurance by assessing machinery risks, analyzing technical specifications and maintenance records, pricing coverage, and setting policy terms. Build relationships with brokers and clients, address policy inquiries, collaborate on customized coverage solutions, monitor existing policy performance, and adjust coverage as needed. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and compliance standards while delivering strong customer service.
