Leads complex IT programs from initiation through delivery, managing scope, schedules, budgets exceeding $10 million, risks, governance, quality, and financial controls. Coordinates internal teams, vendors, executives, and onshore/offshore partners while balancing Agile delivery with governance requirements. Oversees multiple projects, drives stakeholder alignment, resolves issues, manages change, and ensures successful outcomes within budget and established standards. Insurance and transformational program experience is preferred, with Guidewire and cloud technology experience considered an asset.

Leads Aviva Canada’s enterprise risk management function, overseeing risk strategy, governance, risk appetite, insurance and financial risk, capital, models, analytics, and independent challenge. Advises executives, the Board, regulators, and business leaders on strategic decisions, emerging risks, and regulatory obligations. Oversees risk partnering and quantitative risk teams, strengthens risk culture, and ensures effective mitigation, reporting, model validation, and organizational resilience.

Provides customer-focused claims support through phone inquiries, triage, claim setup, assessment, assignment, referral monitoring, documentation, and administrative assistance. Supports Claims Specialists with investigations and escalations, communicates with customers and stakeholders, ensures privacy and regulatory compliance, manages risk, and contributes to process improvements. The role requires accurate system work, sound judgment, strong organization, adaptability, and consistent achievement of service, quality, productivity, and customer experience standards.
