Teams at American Iron & Metal (AIM)

Operate torch equipment to cut and trim metal materials, prepare equipment, follow safety procedures, inspect finished workpieces, make adjustments, and assist with material handling. Maintain an organized work area and safely handle tools and materials. The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, physical stamina, and comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Performs outdoor yard and vehicle-recycling support, including positioning vehicles, maintaining safe and accessible rows, removing debris, disposing of scrap parts, and assisting with snow removal and other site tasks. Requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50 pounds, reliability, willingness to learn, and comfort working in varied weather conditions.

Supervise yard operations, set performance goals, organize workflows, monitor productivity, coach employees, maintain personnel records, prepare reports, enforce safety and company policies, and support process improvement. The Site Supervisor also communicates between management and employees, manages delegated tasks, and takes disciplinary action when needed.
