Leads full-cycle talent acquisition across Canada, including sourcing, employer branding, social media recruiting, candidate relationship building, onboarding optimization, and recruitment performance reporting. Partners with HR and leadership to prioritize hiring needs, diversify applicant channels, support specialized and senior-level recruitment, and improve recruiting processes. Requires English and French fluency, at least two years of talent acquisition experience, and strong communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Prepares soil samples, performs routine laboratory tasks and simple analyses, retrieves and stores samples, assists analysts, and maintains accurate, safe, and efficient laboratory operations. The role includes sample disposal, weighing and tray preparation under supervision, following established procedures, training lab assistants, and complying with quality, safety, and PPE requirements. Candidates must work accurately in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 30 pounds, and be available for rotating shifts, weekends, and overnight work.

Perform routine and supervised sample preparation, aliquoting, storage and disposal; assist and train analysts and lab assistants; follow established procedures, safety policies, and maintain analytical quality in a fast-paced, shift-based water testing laboratory.

Coordinate and support HSE programs for the Waterloo Hub and associated service centres, including inspections, training, incident investigation, contractor management, SDS maintenance, emergency response, exposure monitoring, respiratory fit testing, and regulatory compliance. Provide HSE orientation, co-chair safety committee, enter hazards/incidents into the Compliance Portal, and assist with policy/procedure development and continuous improvement.

Perform sample preparation, extractions and routine analyses; operate, calibrate and maintain lab equipment; prepare reagents and standards; perform data entry, QC, record-keeping, sample storage/disposal, and general lab maintenance while following safety procedures and turnaround times.
