Plan, develop, and run meaningful recreation and leisure activities for long-term care residents to promote wellbeing, skills, relationships, and engagement. Facilitate programs, maintain activity spaces, communicate with residents and families, document changes and care plans, support other departments, and participate in program evaluation and quality improvement.

Plan, develop, and run recreation and leisure activities for long-term care residents to promote wellbeing, skills, relationships, and community engagement. Facilitate activities, maintain engaging environments, document participation and changes, communicate with families and volunteers, support other departments, and participate in program evaluation and quality improvement.

Provide clinical education and training for long-term care staff, residents, and families. Develop and deliver teaching programs using adult learning principles, promote best practices in dementia care, medication management, infection prevention, end-of-life care, and fall prevention, and support audit/accreditation readiness.
