Provides meal service support for senior residents, including food and beverage preparation, dining room setup, table and tray service, dishwashing, kitchen and dining area cleanup, catering, and special events. Assists with training new dietary employees and follows health, safety, and departmental procedures. Requires a Food Handler’s Certificate, physical ability to stand and lift, and a Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one.

Provides care to residents according to care plans, monitors and documents resident needs, reports findings, supports bedside care, follows infection-control procedures, attends training and meetings, and assists with onboarding new staff. The role requires a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma and knowledge of geriatric care, sanitation, simple treatments, and related bedside-care techniques.
