Supervises commercial insurance placement specialists and manages carrier relationships for small and mid-sized accounts in California. Oversees new and renewal remarketing, submissions, negotiations, risk analysis, policy reviews, and compliance with underwriting guidelines. Partners with sales and service teams, monitors placement KPIs, supports business development, and drives process improvement and technology adoption using AURIS and EPIC. The role requires leadership, property and casualty expertise, and up to 25% travel.

Manages commercial insurance accounts from policy maintenance through renewal, including client service, coverage reviews, quoting, proposals, claims follow-up, carrier coordination, account rounding, and retention efforts. Builds client relationships, identifies cross-selling opportunities, maintains accurate records, supports business growth, and mentors junior team members. Requires commercial insurance knowledge, strong communication, analytical and organizational skills, technology proficiency, and appropriate Property and Casualty licensing.

Manages new business and renewal placements for small commercial insurance accounts. Responsibilities include exposure and financial analysis, market strategy, carrier submissions, quote and coverage negotiations, policy review, proposal preparation, coverage gap analysis, and client-facing presentations. The role maintains carrier relationships, uses agency management and rating systems, ensures licensing compliance, and collaborates with producers and account service teams while managing multiple deadlines and confidential information.
