Toronto-based financial planning and analysis software company Una Software has closed a seed funding round led by Staircase Ventures, bringing the company’s total raised to $13 million.
According to a Wednesday news release, Una plans to use the new capital to enhance its AI agent framework, expand its global template library, and scale sales, marketing and strategic partnerships to meet rising demand from mid-market and enterprise clients.
Since its founding, Una has gained recognition for accelerating budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes through software that integrates with CRMs and ERPs, providing finance teams with actionable insights.
“We have reached an inflection point where our AI capabilities are transforming how finance teams operate, and the market demand is undeniable,” said Una’s Don Mal in a statement.
In tandem with the funding announcement, Una named Michael Morrison as its new CEO. Morrison brings over 20 years of experience in scaling technology companies, previously serving as CEO of Fluence Technologies and Jirav, and is expected to lead Una through its next phase of growth.
