TechTO, a membership network for Canadian entrepreneurs, has acquired Peerscale, which provides corporate leaders with growth-focused peer support.
Peerscale’s work is specifically aimed at serving CEOs, COOs and CTOs. The acquisition is expected to strengthen both organizations, according to a statement from Peerscale, and allow TechTO to expand its reach.
TechTO hosts events in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver that have collectively garnered more than 50,000 attendees. Reporting by BetaKit shows TechTO expects the connection with Peerscale will help bring its programming to more later-stage entrepreneurs.
“This is a huge step for our organization and we are confident this acquisition will help us continue to do great things for the tech ecosystem in Canada,” TechTO wrote in a LinkedIn post about the news.
