Messagepoint, a Toronto-based provider of customer communications management technology, has acquired enterprise communications software company Sefas.
In an announcement Thursday, Messagepoint said the deal is intended to help enterprises respond to growing pressure to deliver faster, multi-channel communications while lowering the cost and complexity of management. By integrating Sefas’ capabilities, Messagepoint aims to move organizations away from “fragmented document production and toward a more orchestrated, trackable communications journey” across multiple channels.
“Together, the combination of Messagepoint and Sefas — backed by our focus on AI-driven innovation and next-generation capabilities — will help regulated organizations maximize the efficiency and accuracy of modern customer experiences,” Steve Biancaniello, CEO of Messagepoint, said in a statement.
The acquisition builds on an OEM partnership the companies formed in 2021. Messagepoint said closer integration between the two platforms is expected to speed product development and expand customer offerings, including tools such as Conductor and Electronic Delivery Gateway.
