MDA Space to List on NYSE With $300M IPO

The company will put the money from its public offering toward fueling growth through acquisitions and deepening customer relationships.

Brampton-based MDA Space announced its initial public offering in the U.S. market. The company is selling $300 million of its common shares and listing on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol MDA. 

It serves defense and space organizations with its communications satellites, Earth and space observation tools, and space exploration and infrastructure solutions. MDA Space has a team of over 4,000 people and has aided more than 450 missions.

MDA Space plans to invest the proceeds from its IPO in fueling growth, including furthering its relationships with existing customers and pursuing opportunities like acquisitions or investments.
