Job Description

The Yardi Analyst will be a key player in managing and optimizing the Yardi Voyager product suite. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and a deep understanding of the Yardi platform, including its technical aspects and integration capabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Serve as the technical lead for the Yardi platform and integrations with external systems

  • Liaison between Business Units (Accounting, Operations, Asset Management) and IT on implementing automated processes

  • Import large volumes of data (entries) into Yardi, assisting with month end close process and major transactions (i.e.; acquisitions, debt financing, etc.)

  • Complete report scheduling and task optimization

  • Write custom reports and dynamic documents; generate quarterly audit files

  • Perform data analysis to troubleshoot accounting/operational performance issues

  • Research items affecting financial activity and ensure financial reporting accuracy within Yardi

  • Resolve level one and level two Yardi support issues for users

  • Collaborate with IT and Operational Yardi leads on escalation of issues to Yardi including communicating directly with Yardi regarding issues and case resolution

  • Evaluate and test system upgrades, patches and new modules

  • Build and maintain custom data feeds to assist with ancillary system integrations

  • Manage new projects end-to-end, delivering value to the end user

Qualifications:

  • Multi-family or Single-family industry experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, custom reporting, and technical support in Yardi

  • Strong understanding of system integrations

  • Advanced excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and process improvement skills

  • Must be a team-player who takes initiative

  • Must have passion for learning new technology and developing innovative solutions

Minimum Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles

  • 2+ years of Yardi experience including both property accounting and technical support/system administration
