Join our growing team as a Woker's Compensation Consultant, remotely in Canada!

As a Worker’s Compensation Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting employees through the claims and recovery process while helping the organization create safe, sustainable return-to-work outcomes. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on workplace injury claims, collaborate with leaders, employees, insurers, and external partners, and help ensure claims are managed with care, consistency, and compliance.

The annual salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,000. 

 

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end workers’ compensation claims across multiple provinces.
  • File new claims within required provincial deadlines and maintain compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Review and assess entitlement decisions; challenge or appeal determinations when appropriate to protect employer interests.
  • Collaborate with injured employees, employers, and case managers to develop safe and effective return-to-work and modified duty programs.
  • Monitor case progress and maintain detailed documentation to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide strategic advice to employers on premium reduction strategies and claims cost control.
  • Build strong relationships with workers’ compensation boards, medical providers, and internal partners to facilitate fair and efficient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience managing or adjudicating workers’ compensation claims (multi-province experience preferred).
  • Post-secondary education required.
  • Strong knowledge of WSIB, WCB, and legislation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems.
