VP, Finance
As VP, Finance, based at our Burlington, Ontario head office, you will report directly to the President and serve as a strategic business leader responsible for driving financial performance and operational excellence across Wolseley Canada Inc. To excel in this role, you will need to be a forward-thinking, data-driven leader with strong business acumen and a passion for uncovering insights behind financial performance and operational drivers.
You will partner closely with executive leadership to ensure financial integrity, optimize profitability, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What you will do:
Provide strategic oversight and leadership for Business Finance, Corporate Finance & Strategy, Pricing, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable, and Data Analytics teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Develop and execute financial strategies that align with long-term business goals
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Lead initiatives that optimize pricing, credit and collections, and accounts payable processes
Drive advanced analytics and reporting capabilities to enable data-driven decision-making
Partner with senior leadership to influence strategic decisions and deliver measurable results
Enable and inspire finance leaders to develop their teams and individual talent through strategic coaching, while fostering a high-performance culture

What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CPA and/or CMA designation
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including corporate strategy and operational finance
Exceptional commercial acumen and strategic thinking
Expertise in pricing models, credit risk, and financial analytics
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at the executive level
Industry experience in Plumbing/HVAC, CPG, distribution, or wholesale is an asset
Ability to travel across Canada (~10%)
