TripArc is seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Vice President, Air Platform, a vital role responsible for guiding the strategy, development, and financial performance of our advanced air booking platform. This state-of-the-art solution is designed to equip luxury travel advisors with seamless access to premium flight inventory, exclusive fares, and sophisticated booking tools tailored to their high-end clientele. The Vice President will drive revenue growth, increase platform adoption, and solidify TripArc’s standing as a leader in the luxury air travel sector.

This position calls for a seasoned professional with deep air travel industry experience and a robust background in air booking technology. The successful candidate will lead the enhancement of our air module into a premier booking platform, delivering unmatched value to luxury travel advisors and strengthening relationships with leading airlines and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities 
•    Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement a forward-looking strategy for the air booking platform, meeting the specialized needs of luxury travel advisors and their discerning clients. 
•    Financial Stewardship: Manage the platform’s profit and loss statement, optimizing revenue opportunities and ensuring sustained profitability. 
•    Product Leadership: Collaborate with product, engineering, and user experience teams to create a high-performing, user-friendly platform that redefines air travel booking standards. 
•    Industry Insight: Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, and technological advancements to keep the platform at the forefront of the air travel industry. 
•    Partnership Development: Partner with sales and marketing teams to enhance platform utilization, while cultivating strategic relationships with airline executives and key industry stakeholders. 
•    Operational Integrity: Oversee platform operations, ensuring fare accuracy, schedule reliability, and adherence to aviation industry regulations and best practices. 
•    Analytical Decision-Making: Utilize performance metrics and user data to refine platform features, pricing strategies, and business approaches. 
•    Cross-Functional Integration: Work closely with other TripArc business units to align the air platform with the company’s overarching goals and initiatives.

Qualifications 
•    Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. 
•    A minimum of 10 years of experience in the air travel industry, with a focus on technology-driven booking platforms, revenue management, or strategic airline partnerships. 
•    Proven leadership in a product-oriented environment, with a track record of achieving commercial success. 
•    Thorough understanding of airline distribution systems, booking technology, and the operational needs of luxury travel advisors. 
•    Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with experience engaging senior airline industry stakeholders. 
•    Experience managing a profit and loss statement and driving revenue growth in a technology or platform business. 
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams. 
•    Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to inform strategic decisions. 
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences, from team members to executive leadership. 
•    A proactive, results-oriented approach, with the capacity to succeed in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
