About the Role:

The Virtual Account Manager (Inside Sales) collaborates closely with our Account Managers on daily tasks such as sales, renewals, and customer interactions, ensuring we deliver the best business and technology solutions to our clients. We are seeking a competitive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our thriving sales team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for new sales professionals or experienced inside sales representatives to learn and grow alongside our senior account managers. The position has the potential to drive new business, with the possibility of advancing to an account manager role in the future.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop a solid understanding of our service and product offerings to enable productive discussions with potential and current customers.
  • Diligently track stock levels for product availability; promptly obtain information and data from Manufacturers and Distributors regarding orders, as required.
  • Manage and qualify inbound sales requests/calls.
  • Handle delivery and order escalations via established processes; follow-up on order management process from entry to delivery, and estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of delivery schedules.
  • Successfully manage and maintain specifically assigned accounts.
  • Support assigned Account Managers on the development of sales quotes, sales orders and proposals on a timely basis, including RFP bid or response pricing.
  • Work with Account Managers to keep account activities and information up to date, including accurately managing and maintaining customer information.
  • Other projects or duties assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • University degree, preferably in a business discipline such as marketing or sales; and/or equivalent work experience with inside sales and B2B selling.
  • Experience in a customer service role would be an asset.
  • Passionate about sales and building positive relationships with customers, utilizing your outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office - familiarity with any CRM system is a bonus
  • Exceptional and adaptable communicator, both verbally and in written communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and produce results within deadlines
  • Proven accurate data entry and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs

Working Conditions:

  • Preferably BC-Based in a hybrid work environment 
  • Minimal Travel – Less than 10%
  • Overtime as required
