About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Human Resources Business Partners and Strategic Initiatives, the Vice President, Human Resources - TD Wealth and TD Insurance provides strategic HR leadership to a diverse enterprise portfolio. The role partners with executive leaders to design and deliver people strategies that enable business performance, transformation and growth.

As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, the VP HR aligns workforce, talent and culture priorities with business objectives while reinforcing TD values and leadership expectations.

Key AccountabilitiesStrategic Partnership and Advisory
  • Provide strategic HR counsel to executive and senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, leadership effectiveness and culture.
  • Translate business priorities into integrated, actionable people strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Build trusted enterprise relationships and harness the HR function's capabilities to deliver strong business outcomes.
  • Lead executive talent strategies, including succession planning, talent development and leadership pipeline strength.
  • Partner across HR to deliver integrated solutions across talent management, performance, compensation and colleague experience.
  • Strengthen leadership capability to support business priorities and future growth.
Transformation and Change
  • Lead the people strategy for large-scale transformation initiatives and operating model evolution.
  • Support leaders in navigating change, enabling effective adoption and sustained performance.
  • Drive simplification to support faster decision-making and execution.
Culture and Inclusion
  • Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with TD's values.
  • Embed culture and inclusion practices across talent and leadership processes.
  • Role model leadership behaviours that foster engagement and trust.
Data, Risk and Governance
  • Use data, insights and analytics to inform workforce decisions and measure effectiveness.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise HR policies, regulatory requirements and risk frameworks.
  • Reinforce accountability and disciplined execution through clear goals and outcomes.
Job RequirementsEducation and Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership advisory roles.
  • Experience supporting complex, enterprise-level functions and large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in financial services and technology organizations is an asset.
  • Experience in Wealth Management and/or Insurance domains is an asset.

  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Expertise in organizational design, talent management and change leadership.
