Position: UX/UI Developer

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: 6 Month 

Rate: Open

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Skills

• Proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, adhering to standards and best practices

• Experience incorporating the latest of HTML5 and CSS3 into design work, with an understanding of cross browser compatibility and limitations

• Experience building websites for the mobile web with an emphasis on responsive design

• Experience with front end JavaScript frameworks – JQuery, AngularJS, Ember

• Comfortable working with third party APIs – Facebook Open Graph, OAuth, Twitter, Google Analytics

• Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop & Illustrator

• Some experience with iOS/Android development a plus

Position & Knowledge Requirements

• The ideal candidates have 3+ years experience in software development and design

• Excellent understanding of UX development for mobile and web, technology trends, and demonstrable design skills

• A passion for great UX design and how it impacts user experience

• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills

• Excellent systems analysis skills

• Ability to follow design documents and critique when required

• Must have clear verbal and written communication skills and style

• Enthusiasm for usability and delivering a great user experience

• An excellent eye for design
