Our suite of end-to-end foodservice technology solutions helps professionals across healthcare and aging services streamline their operations, save time, reduce food waste, and meet regulatory requirements, so they can focus on what matters most: improving the quality of patient and resident care.  

We’re looking for our next experienced UX Researcher to join our Product team. Reporting to the VP, Product, you’ll be enhancing MealSuite’s understanding of its existing and prospective users. 

A day in the life as a UX Researcher:  

  • Analyze responses to a stakeholder survey about a feature that was recently delivered 
  • Organize a user feedback session with end-users on a feature that is underperforming
  • Provide user insights about a feature being designed by UX/UI & Product Managers
  • Present some of your qualitative & qualitative user learnings in a clear, concise, and comprehensive way to the Product and Marketing teams
  • Optimize the engagement & feedback of the user community by coordinating with Customer Success & Marketing 
  • Work alongside UX/UI on an end-user usability study for a beta feature
  • Identify an area for improvement within the existing user experience, and contact a Product Manger to discuss the value 
  • Assess the effectiveness of a clause in the UX/UI Usability Standards and how it would effect users

  • I have knowledge of UX Research within SaaS 
  • I gained my knowledge through 5+ years of direct experience working with SaaS users, particularly in B2B settings 
  • I have experience balancing the needs of numerous user types within a single software product 
  • I have created user personas and analyzed user pain points, motivations, and daily life; I can act as the voice of the customer during prototyping and idea incubation phases 
  • I am data-driven and exceptional at finding the signal through the noise of copious information  
  • I have a proven ability to engage not only vocal users, but also from the quieter ones 
  • I have some experience with quantitative data gathering tools like Survey Monkey, Microsoft Forms, or similar tools  
  • I get most excited about recognizing patterns in large datasets, proposing solutions, and finding the right questions to ask next 
  • I stay in touch with industry trends, best practices, and changing needs within the users’ ecosystem  
  • I’m willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA 
  • I am willing to occasionally work mornings / evenings to collaborate with teams in different time zones as needed 
  • I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate 
  • I am an effective communicator at multiple levels, and have a proven ability to drive users’ needs in product development discussions 
  • I love to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and endless opportunity to express my ideas and build my leadership skills
