What you'll be doing

As a UX Designer you will be involved in reimagining the user experience for Investor’s Edge self-directed investing platform for both desktop and mobile, from concept through to launch. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging digital experiences for our clients by establishing a deep understanding of user needs, designing detailed wireframes and user flows, assisting with user research and communicating solutions clearly in presentations and documentation, all while demonstrating UX leadership.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $75,870 to $104,320.
The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.
In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

How you'll succeed

• Deep analysis & research – Conduct competitive analysis, develop a deep understanding of the user needs through data analytics, market and user research in partnership with our business product owners. 

• Design simple and elegant solutions – Design the user experience from concept, design implementation to testing across multiple platforms and user groups, in collaboration with our UX team.

• Communicate and present design solutions – Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Deliver design documentation and presentations to the project team, development staff and senior executives for implementation.

• Effective teamwork & collaboration: Work closely with cross-disciplinary project teams including business stakeholders, product managers, project managers, business analysts, and technology. Follow a collaborative iterative design process with our UX team (UI design content strategy, UX research and strategy).

• Knowledgeable about investing – You are passionate, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about the investing landscape to excited to join the adventure of innovation and change. 

Who you are

• You can demonstrate experience in the UX field with a minimum of 3-5 years of design experience; as well as domain knowledge and/or keen interest in self-directed investing. You have a proven track record of coming up with simple, elegant solutions for complex design problems with experience designing and prototyping in Figma, and knowledge of WCAG Accessibility Guidelines and how to design to meet these standards.

• You have a degree/diploma Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. 

• You're digitally savvy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. You can easily adapt to new tools and trends.
