What you'll be doing

As a UX Copywriter, you'll join the Simplii Financial Digital Experience and Design team responsible for creating engaging and intuitive copy for customer-facing digital applications. You'll develop and maintain UX copy decks, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects. Collaborating with business partners, stakeholders, and various team members, you'll optimize digital content in line with Simplii's editorial standards and WCAG principles. Your proficiency in design tools like Figma will enable seamless integration of copy into design prototypes.

How you'll succeed

  • Copy Development – Author UX copy decks for client-facing content related to Simplii products on multiple platforms, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice.

  • Collaboration – Work closely with business partners, stakeholders, development teams, QA testers, UX and visual designers, researchers, analytics, and accessibility specialists to create and optimize digital content that meets user needs and business goals.

  • Quality Assurance – Ensure quality and consistency across copy decks and projects by following version control standards and adhering to Simplii's editorial guidelines.

  • Content Maintenance – Revise online and mobile banking content in response to changing business requirements and client needs, maintaining an up-to-date library of UX copy decks.

  • Multitasking – Manage multiple project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Design Integration – Utilize proficiency in design tools like Figma to seamlessly integrate copy into design prototypes, enhancing collaboration with design teams.

Who you are

  • You have experience in UX writing or copywriting, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create user-centric digital content. Experience in the financial or fintech industry is a plus.

  • You have a degree/diploma in English, Communications, Marketing, Design, or a related field.

  • You're proficient in design tools like Figma and familiar with content management systems and version control practices.

  • You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all copy deliverables.

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • You're able to adapt to changing business requirements and client needs, revising content accordingly to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
