About the role
We’re looking for a Unit Manager, Accounts Receivable - Agency Bill to join our growing team!
You will be part of a national team of Unit Managers in Accounts Receivable responsible for delivering first-class results for internal and external stakeholders. You will be accountable for leading and developing a team of Agency Bill Accounts Servicing Representatives to achieve established targets and adapt to a constantly evolving finance landscape.
What you’ll do here:

Manage a team responsible for collecting and reconciling payments from brokers for Agency Bill, ensuring established targets are consistently met.

Resolve personnel issues, including hiring, approving vacations, performance reviews, remedial action, setting goals and priorities, monitoring performance, and providing feedback to the employees.

Evaluate, recommend and support implementation of changes to improve workflows, processes, and engagement.

Lead, coach and develop employees, by providing guidance and solutions.

Respond to various requests from internal and external stakeholders, including acting as a primary contact for escalations.

Prepare, review, and analyze statistical results related to staff and broker performance.

Contribute positively to the Agency Bill brand, both internally and externally.
What you bring to the table:

College degree in administration, accounting, finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.

1 year of experience in management, coaching, or mentoring.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel).

Good knowledge of accounts receivable principles and practices (an asset).

Customer and results oriented.

Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Exemplary communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.

Proven teamwork and collaboration skills.

Demonstrate autonomy and flexibility.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
