Northbridge Insurance Underwriting Specialist provides customized solutions for our clients when they need advice on specialty risks.  They work closely with our MGA partners to develop unique solutions for all classes of risk

The Underwriting Specialist is responsible for underwriting and servicing increasingly complex accounts in accordance with established guidelines and business objectives in the achievement of national standards for data quality and service level agreements. On this team you will be responsible for managing and growing our national Auto Dealers program. Our Underwriting Specialists are experts in their field and passionate about growing our book of business with responsible and sustainable risks.  Working in a collaborative team, there is the opportunity to coach and mentor junior colleagues and further develop your skills from our more experienced underwriters to help grow your appetite of complex risks.
We want your talent
If you are great at:

  • Underwriting Property, Casualty & Commercial Auto

  • Sales and negotiations

  • Solutions orientated

  • Developing and maintaining professional relationship with our MGAs and/or customers

  • Coaching and mentoring more junior underwriters on team

If you have:

  • 5+ years of Underwriting experience

  • Completed, or pursuing your CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations

  • Strong customer service background

  • Team-first mentality

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $96,000 - $144,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position. We’re also open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, don’t let that hold you back — we’d still love to hear from you.
