Essential Job Functions

  • Under control and supervision, assists underwriters in servicing new and existing accounts
  • Assist underwriters with managing and completing the electronic underwriting files
  • Books accounts, prepares endorsements and binders, evaluates new and renewal policies and endorsements, prepares and issues manuscript policies
  • Services accounts including resolving agents' inquiries, requests, and policy processing activities within guidelines, gather and organize specified information and reports to assist in the underwriting decision

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an administrative support capacity
  • Detail oriented; Attention to quality/accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflows efficiently
  • Ability to work independently, at times, but also as a team in a group environment
  • Professional demeanor in verbal and written communications internally and externally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and similar applications
  • This job is for an existing position.
  • The salary range for this role is between $50,000.00 and $65,000.00 CAD.
