What you'll do

  • Syntronic Ottawa Software Design Studio are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer that will take UI/UX lead creating application designs with exciting next generation devices and web applications for a variety of industries.
  • You will work in a cross functional team and a broad range of stake holders. Having a solid understanding of technology as well as business needs in general is a big plus.

What you need to get the job done

  • 3+ years documented hands on experience conducting requirements gathering, stake holder interviews, usability studies, user stories/user flow designs and persona definitions
  • 5+ years experience working with interactive design, creating wireframes, user flows
  • 5+ years experience designing pixel perfect UI designs and/or animations for leading edge products, web applications; mobile applications a plus
  • 3+ years experience working closely in cross functional teams of engineers
  • Solid experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop

What will make us REALLY love you

  • You have a solid understanding of best design practices across mobile as well as web and can express them clearly
  • Experience creating style guides, branding guidelines and similar a plus
  • Experience designing highly interactive experiences a plus
  • Experience working with clients in a services capacity a plus
  • Strong graphical design skills a plus
  • Portfolio and walkthrough experience required
