We are looking for a Treasury Lead to build and scale our treasury operations across both crypto and fiat domains. This is a foundational role within cyber·Fund’s finance team, responsible for designing wallet infrastructure, managing liquidity and payments, and ensuring financial risk controls. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we manage and secure assets across jurisdictions and protocols.

What you’ll do
  • Develop and implement treasury policies and frameworks for crypto and fiat operations.

  • Design and manage wallet infrastructure with a focus on security, automation, and scalability.

  • Oversee payment operations, including crypto transactions and fiat transfers.

  • Monitor treasury risk exposures (volatility, counterparty, concentration) and implement mitigations.

  • Build and maintain relationships with banking and financial service providers — both traditional and crypto-native.

  • Deliver timely and accurate treasury reports to internal stakeholders.

  • Advise cross-functional teams (Legal, Ops, Product) on treasury-related matters.

  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and audit-ready documentation.

What you bring
  • 4+ years of experience in treasury, payments, or crypto operations.

  • Proven experience managing crypto treasury functions: wallet design, custody, liquidity, and DeFi.

  • Technical understanding of on-chain infrastructure: multisig, custody providers, stablecoins, etc.

  • Strong background in fiat and crypto payment processes, including compliance (KYC/AML).

  • Process design skills: you can build scalable, secure systems from scratch.

  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, fast-moving environment.

  • Data-driven mindset — reliable, structured, and focused on reporting and accountability.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience in FP&A, financial planning, or treasury forecasting.

  • Familiarity with DeFi strategies (staking, yield farming, treasury diversification).

  • Experience designing or auditing internal controls for treasury functions.

  • Background in crypto-native startups, investment DAOs, or venture/RE funds.

What we offer:
  • Work from anywhere in the world: we are an international distributed team;

  • Competitive compensation;

  • Well-being program;

  • Mental Health care program;

  • Medical insurance;

  • Compensation for education, including English & professional growth courses;

  • Equipment & co-working reimbursement program;

  • Overseas conferences, community immersion;

  • High degree of autonomy, no micromanagement.

What you need to know about the Toronto Tech Scene

Although home to some of the biggest names in tech, including Google, Microsoft and Amazon, Toronto has established itself as one of the largest startup ecosystems in the world. And with over 2,000 startups — more than 30 percent of the country's total startups — Toronto continues to attract new businesses. Be it helping entrepreneurs manage their finances, simplifying business operations by automating payroll or assisting pharmaceutical companies in launching new drugs, the city's tech scene is just getting started.
