Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise company drivers and activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.
- Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper issues.
- Collaborate with managers/staff members and customer to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
- Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with government regulations, administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and Lean program.
- Obtain Freight rates for inside sales comparison.
- Arrange trucks for delivery to customers.
- Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
- Maintain CTPAT and ISO certifications.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree or some college in pursuit of same is preferred.
- 1-2 years previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
- 3-5 years prior experience in the transportation industry.
- Solid knowledge of government regulations within the trucking industry.
- Strong time management and coordination skills, verbal and written communication skills, and critical thinking/problem resolution ability.
