What you’ll do 

The Transformation Project Lead is responsible for driving enterprise-level transformation initiatives across packaging and product development operations. This strategic role focuses on implementing digital tools, automation, and process redesign to improve efficiency, scalability, and speed-to-market. Acting as a change agent, the Transformation Project Lead partners with cross-functional teams to define the modernization roadmap, integrate advanced technologies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and execute a multi-year modernization strategy for packaging and product development operations.

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for digital transformation, automation, and process optimization across multiple functions.

  • Align modernization initiatives with corporate goals for cost savings, sustainability, and operational excellence.

  • Lead the selection and implementation of enterprise-level platforms (PLM, DAM, workflow automation systems).

  • Partner with IT and vendors to integrate AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics into operational workflows.

  • Drive adoption of cloud-based collaboration tools and digital asset management systems.

  • Establish governance frameworks for modernization projects, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Develop training programs and communication plans to support organizational change.

  • Act as a champion for innovation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Define KPIs for modernization success (efficiency gains, cost reduction, speed-to-market).

  • Build dashboards and reporting tools for leadership visibility and decision-making.

  • Monitor progress and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

What you bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred

  • 8+ years in operations transformation, modernization, or digital strategy roles.

  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-level technology implementations.

  • Strong strategic planning and change management expertise.

  • Familiarity with packaging and product development processes.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with AI-driven process optimization and automation tools.

  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and regulatory compliance in packaging.

  • Ability to influence at all levels and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000 and $106,000 Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
