Position Description:

Responsible for the operational development and implementation of Lilly’s global transfer pricing
system. This includes conducting annual price setting and mid –year local profitability reviews with
Lilly international affiliates. The position also acts as a liaison with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Finance, IT, Business Process Knowledge Center (“BPKC”), and foreign affiliate personnel. Requires strong financial analysis and SAP skills, as well as business partnering skills.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

  • Execute various tasks associated with the annual transfer price setting process
  • Maintain transfer prices in SAP, including troubleshooting, correcting, and/or advising with respect to SAP requirements to ensure product flows can occur
  • Analyze and advise related to affiliate profitability, including mid-year profitability reviews (and other ad hoc analysis) with international affiliates
  • Calculate and perform US domestic-only transfer pricing billings, forecasting and follow-ups
  • Review non-product billings to determine if mark-ups are correct and to verify proper documentation
  • Provide SAP project support
  • Perform monthly financial control checks
  • Ensure SoX compliance adhered to and annually updated
  • Develop periodic and ad-hoc reporting and analysis from SAP

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 2-5 years financial experience
  • Strong analytical skills and solid experience with financial data
  • Excel proficiency

Additional Preferences:

  • Transfer Pricing knowledge
  • Intercompany SAP knowledge
  • Ability to business partner with other business areas and foreign affiliates
  • Experience with Master Data, Order to Cash, Product Costing, and Purchase to Pay
