The Opportunity: 
 

Join our dynamic team as Training Development and Design Specialist supporting the Dealer and our Insurance division. In this role, the incumbent will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the design and development of our training programs, directly impacting the growth and effectiveness of our Advisors and their teams.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve training modules and materials for advisor development programs. 

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up to date. 

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for enhancements. 

  • Manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, communications, and resource allocation. 

  • Stay abreast of trends and best practices in training and adult learning to incorporate innovative methods. 

  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, or consultations with managers. 

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate advisor development into broader organizational strategies. 

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Global Wealth to ensure seamless rollout and success of various initiatives. 

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they adhere to established timelines, budgets and performance standards. 

  • Engage with leadership and external partners to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on business priorities. 

  • Some travel may be required. 
     

What we are looking for 

  • Creative thinker and problem solver with a keen attention to detail. 

  • Self-motivated individuals with a proven track record in developing and designing training. 

  • Passion for innovation, committed to implementing cutting-edge learning and development strategies. 

  • Proven experience in developing and designing training programs for financial advisors or related roles.  

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage participants across various learning platforms. 

  • Experience in assessing training needs and tailoring programs to address specific knowledge gaps, skill development and change management. 

  • Excellent organizational skills, with an emphasis on prioritizing and executing tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.  Experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements. 

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology or a related field.  

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training development and delivery, preferably in a corporate or advisory setting. 

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and experience with Learning Management Systems. 

  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement instructional materials and solutions. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and virtual training methods

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail. 

  • Possession of relevant industry accreditations will be considered an asset. 

  • Bilingual in French considered an asset.

Salary range is expected to be between

$71,925.00 CAD - $119,875.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
