What does it mean to be a Consultant in Software Engineering at Netlight?
It will vary a lot between Netlighters as we, around the right individual, will design a role together. You will be starting somewhere familiar, for example; in web development, system development, data engineering etc. You are in charge of your career at Netlight, ranging from which clients you will work with, what role you want to take (based on your personal experience, strengths and interest) and how your relationship with your mentor/coach/EDGE networks/social networks look. This role provides the opportunity to build and scale new and existing products for our clients while continuously mastering a variety of technical tools. Our projects are in fields such as Backend Development, Frontend Development, Web Development, System Development, Cloud, Mobile Development, Architecture, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, DevOps, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Scrum Master, Agile Coaching, Product Owner, UX-/UI-/Interaction Design and more.
 
Minimum Qualifications
·       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology
·       Verbal and written (native) fluency in English
·       1-5 years of work experience within Software Engineering
·       Based in Toronto. This is a 100% in-person role
·       Eligible to work in Ontario, Canada
