What You’ll Be Doing
The Core Banking and Payments Technology Line of Business provides modern software driven banking experiences for CIBC's personal and small business banking clients by putting our clients at the center of all that we do. You’ll be joining CIBC’s Core Banking & Payments Technology QA Team as a Test Coordinator. You’ll be hands on with all aspects of the systems testing process and provide suggestions that will ensure client needs are met with the highest quality. As a Test Coordinator, you’ll be a team member on CIBC’s Technology team, developing strategies, creating test plans, test cases, execute test cases, and participate in troubleshooting defects and related issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for developing test automation scripts and enhancing our existing test automation capabilities to streamline and achieve Testing efficiencies. You will be responsible for all relevant reporting throughout the testing cycles. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You’ll Succeed
Testing Expertise – participate in the analysis and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business. Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products that meet business and system requirements.
Leadership Skills – Provide advice to your team, including ongoing feedback, support, and mentorship. Proactively identify any potential issues throughout all test phases and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.
Project Coordination – Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project’s timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to your project’s timeline, budget and objectives.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 2- 5 years of experience in software development testing, automation, and software process improvement. It’s an asset if you have experience with Debit POS payments systems testing, Debit card issuance end to end testing, knowledge of card issuance and manufacturing flows, chip card EMV personalization validations, and retail payments end to end testing. It would be considered strong assets if you have experience with POS Payment Hub, COINS, CSP, and working knowledge of UL test tools, including the UL EMV Personalization Validation Tool.
