Daily Responsibilities of the Entry-Level Territory Sales Representative:

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers by effectively communicating product features and benefits, addressing inquiries, and providing exceptional service
  • Overcome customer objections effectively and professionally while negotiating and finalizing sales contracts
  • Follow up with current, past, and prospective customers to collect valuable feedback and optimize our sales processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct market research to gain insights into new territories, driving expansion efforts and enhancing our operations
  • Handle confidential customer information and contracts with the utmost discretion and integrity
  • Act as a key point of contact and a role model for new entry-level Territory Sales Representatives, providing guidance and support
  • Deliver information confidently and clearly to customers, clients, and teammates

Preferred Skills and Qualifications of the Entry-Level Territory Sales Representative:

  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, retail, or a related field is highly preferred
  • Comfortable engaging directly with customers and presenting information
  • A basic understanding of sales techniques, market trends, and promotional strategies is ideal but not required
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs
  • Ability to handle rejection professionally and stay motivated
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • High school diploma or GED is required
