Our client, a national distributor serving lumber yards, building material dealers, and hardware retailers, is looking for TWO high-energy Territory Sales Representative to drive growth across an established but rapidly expanding customer base.
If you know the Lumber and Building Materials sector, speak the language of dealers and buyers, and love winning business through relationships and hustle, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Own your territory: Acquire, manage, and grow dealer and industrial accounts across the building supply channel.
- Grow revenue fast: Deliver the right fastening solutions to boost customer spend, profitability, and product adoption.
- Hunt + farm: Pursue new customers while expanding wallet share with existing accounts.
- Build strong relationships: Visit customers regularly, understand their business, and become a trusted partner.
- Stay market-sharp: Provide weekly industry intel and competitive insights.
- Plan + execute: Set clear growth targets with measurable action plans and deliver monthly/quarterly forecasts.
- Solve problems quickly: Jump on customer issues, remove friction, and keep satisfaction high.
- Show the numbers: Track results, highlight wins, flag challenges, and recommend improvements.
- Represent the brand: Attend key tradeshows, dealer events, and strategic meetings with management.
- Stay connected: Participate in weekly team calls and collaborate with sales leadership

What You Bring
- Proven success selling to the lumber, building materials, hardware retail, or industrial supply markets (5 years preferred).
- A record of hitting (and beating) sales targets.
- Strong relationship-building skills with dealers, contractors, and buying groups.
- Self-motivation, territory ownership mentality, and a competitive edge.
- Ability to plan your week, manage your pipeline, and execute consistently in the field.
