We are hiring a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) who thrives in a competitive market. This individual will drive sales by seeking and building new relationships within the pool industry, present sales presentations to targeted accounts, grow market share within both new and existing accounts and provide support including ensuring customer satisfaction and product demonstrations for builders, contractors, and OEM’s. The Territory will cover south New Jersey and Delaware.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
This individual will be the key in- field lead that drives new and existing business within the new construction channel. The execution of promotional tactics, conducting distributor tabletop programs & identifying key accounts will be the primary responsibility of this position. Additionally, you will:
- Call on and sell Fluidra products, programs and services to National accounts, pool builders, retail accounts, O.E.M.s, sales managers, salespeople, plumbers and electricians.
- Attend trade shows and tabletops – National, Regional, Local, NSPI.
- Maintain Salesforce database of Fluidra customers.
- Turn in paperwork on a timely basis (expense reports, monthly reports).
Sales:
- Sell programs and services in a positive and professional manner to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Develop sales demand to pull Fluidra products through territory distribution.
- Represent Fluidra Sales Department for specific or unusual accounts
- (i.e., Anthony & Sylvan, Premier, Blue Haven, OEM’s, Carecraft, UAG, Leslie’s etc.).
- Work with management to keep them informed about any changes, which may affect the territory.
- Send literature via fax or mail upon request.
- Fill out required forms for literature and special delivery sent via Shipping or Marketing department.
- Increase sales on a regular basis.
- Compile lists of prospective customers in Salesforce for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, and other sources and most important trade show leads.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
- Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalogs and emphasize features.
- Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained from distribution and national accounts.
WHAT WE SEEK
- 3+ years of outside sales experience and/ or training. Pool industry experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills along with the ability to present information in an easily understood format.
- Read and Interpret documents- Safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel in target customer companies.
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally while balancing customer needs with Fluidra corporate goals of revenue & profitability.
- Ability to operate basic Microsoft office software such as Word & Excel, Google email & scheduling and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
EDUCATION
B.S. in a technical field or equivalent technical product experience is preferred.

Expected salary range is $80,000 - $100,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
