This role will act as a strategic partner to the CTO and the technology organization, ensuring the technology organization operates effectively. This role involves managing key projects, facilitating communication, and optimizing Wave’s use of technology tools.

Here’s How You Make an Impact:

  • Program Management:
  • Oversee and manage key projects and initiatives to ensure timely delivery and achievement of strategic goals.
  • Facilitate collaboration across teams to drive efficiency, resolve issues, and manage dependenciesAssist in prioritizing initiatives and aligning resources to meet organizational goals.
  • Streamline operations and optimize processes within the CTO's office and across technology departmentsPartner with CTO, technology leadership team, procurement, and finance to drive tool optimization, including building department level roadmaps.
  • Communication & Liaison:
  • Facilitate clear communication of technology initiatives and updates across Wave; drive accountability in partnership with the technology leadership team for timely and quality deliverables,
  • Build and lead an operating rhythm for the technology organization, aligning to the overall cadence of the business (i.e. QBRs, operational reviews),
  • Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for improving processes within the technology team
  • Help streamline operations and enhance team productivity
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze data related to technology performance (OKRs) and initiatives.
  • Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial (budget) performance.

You Thrive Here By Possessing the Following:

  • 5+ years experience in strategic program / project management within a technology department
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Proven experience in a technology role, preferably in a startup or high-growth/high-tech environment
  • Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies
  • High degree of proficiency in software development, cloud platforms and financial management tools
