A day in the life.

As a Technology Program Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency, you start by engaging with multiple Scrum Masters to discuss the status of their development pods and address any immediate blockers. You review burndown and burnup charts to assess team performance and prepare for meetings with business stakeholders, presenting status reports that highlight progress and potential risks. Throughout your work, you conduct one-on-one check-ins with Scrum Masters to provide guidance and share best practices for Agile methodologies, while also analyzing resource allocation using Planview and Azure DevOps (ADO) to ensure teams have the necessary support. You gather feedback from retrospective meetings and compile actionable reports to refine processes and enhance team performance. Additionally, you update communication plans and prepare for upcoming meetings, ensuring you are always ready to support your teams and stakeholders.

Our future colleague.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
•    5+ years of product and or business analyst experience.
•    Reviewing the strategic goals and objectives of the organization and aligning them with the product roadmap.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, executives, and development teams, to gather feedback, prioritize features, and refine the product roadmap.
•    Engage with cross-functional teams, such as designers, developers, and business analysts, to ensure a shared understanding of product requirements and priorities.
•    Participate in agile ceremonies, such as PI planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups, to provide guidance and prioritize product features.
•    Serve as a point of escalation for Scrum Masters to address and remove blockers that hinder team progress and productivity.
•    Monitor and report on the performance and production of various development pods, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
•    Utilize standard Agile metrics, including burndown and burnup charts, to provide insights into team performance and project status.
•    Assist in managing resource allocation and capacity planning using tools such as Planview and Azure DevOps (ADO) to optimize team efficiency and effectiveness.
•    Collaborate with Scrum Masters to ensure that teams are equipped with the necessary resources and support to meet their objectives.
•    Facilitate regular reviews of team performance metrics and provide actionable feedback to enhance productivity and team dynamics.
•    Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that include regular status reporting for business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on program progress and key milestones.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, related degree, or relevant experience.

We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. Don’t be shy. If you’re close, we’d be very interested in meeting you.
