We have openings for Technical Publication Specialists in Mississauga, Ontario and Longueil, QC.
Specific Position Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and specifications for company products' maintenance and overhaul manuals.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for various audiences.
- Create and include technical illustrations, diagrams, and schematics to improve understanding of maintenance and overhaul procedures.
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements, company guidelines, and safety standards.
- Conduct usability testing and collect feedback from end-users to improve the quality and effectiveness of manuals.
- Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy standards.
Qualifications for Position
- College degree in design and drafting or, AME certification.
- Must be able to obtain CGD clearance in Canada.
- Sound gas turbine engine knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Solid computer skills (MS Suite and 3D/2D CAD software).
- Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with SGML or XML writing is a plus.
