Compensation: $55K to $75K CAD (base)

This role works closely with Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery teams within a Managed Services / IT Services environment.

Pathway Communications is seeking a Technical Proposal & Sales Specialist / Pre-Sales Content Specialist to support business growth by identifying RFP opportunities and developing high-quality, technically accurate, and commercially compelling proposals. This role works closely with Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery teams within a Managed Services / IT Services environment.
RFP Identification & Opportunity Management
- Proactively hunt and track RFP, RFI, and RFQ opportunities across public and private procurement portals, partner ecosystems, and industry sources.
- Monitor submission deadlines, compliance requirements, and qualification criteria
- Maintain and regularly update a centralized SharePoint repository with RFP documents, requirements, timelines, clarifications, and status updates
- Proposal & Pre-Sales Content Development
- Lead end-to-end development of RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Translate complex technical solutions into clear, client-focused value propositions
- Customize responses based on client needs, industry context, and service scope
- Develop and maintain sales collateral, including service descriptions, solution briefs, case studies, and pitch decks
- Support sales teams with written content and presentations during pre-sales cycles
- Ensure consistency of messaging, branding, and quality across all materials
- Partner with Sales, Solution Architects, Delivery, Finance, and Legal teams to gather inputs and validate proposal accuracy
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- 5+ years of experience in technical proposal writing, pre-sales, or sales enablement within an MSP, IT services, or technology consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and IT support models.
- Excellent technical writing, editing, and document structuring skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex RFPs end-to-end
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with SharePoint, CRM platforms, and proposal management tools is an asset
